We are writing to let you know that we are retiring HiveMQ Cloud Serverless, including the Pay-As-You-Go plan, at the end of this year. We're contacting you with this update now to ensure you have plenty of time and a straightforward path to keep your project running.
Key dates
Your Serverless broker remains available until 31 December 2026.
Pay-As-You-Go billing: if you are on PAYG, your final invoice covers usage until 31 December 2026 and will be issued in early January 2027. No PAYG usage charges will accrue after 31 December 2026.
What you need to do
Your Serverless workloads do not transfer to self-hosted HiveMQ automatically, you need to set up a new broker and point your devices to it:
Set up a new HiveMQ broker using one of the options below.
Configure it for your use case.
Point your devices and clients to the new broker before the Serverless access ends.
